About Us
byXTRA is a creator-built fashion brand designed in Tokyo — crafted for people who want comfort, personality, and a little bit of “XTRA” in everything they wear.
What started as sketches, late-night prototypes, and endless samples has grown into a small-but-mighty apparel label built with intention. Every piece is designed by me, Stan Fukase, inspired by the way I dress every day: expressive, functional, cozy, bold, and full of character.
Why “byXTRA”?
Before byXTRA was a brand, XTRA was my drag persona — the version of me that wasn’t afraid to experiment, stand out, or be bold.
Drag was where I learned:
• to push past fear,
• to play with color and silhouette,
• to dress the way I feel,
• and to embrace the parts of myself that are “too much” for some people — in the best way possible.
Through drag, I learned what I loved wearing: pieces that make you feel something when you put them on.
That’s what byXTRA is built on.
It’s a brand that says:
Being bold isn’t a problem — it’s your power.
Being XTRA isn’t “too much” — it’s the most authentic version of you.
Every collection is an extension of that philosophy.
Crafted with Purpose
We work with trusted manufacturers in Asia and ship directly from our 3PL in Brooklyn, New York. Every piece goes through hands-on sampling, testing, and revising until it feels right — the weight, the fit, the color, the drape, everything.
